GRAINFIELD -- Rosie Weber, 88, Grainfield, died Monday, Jan. 21, 2008. She was born Rosie Ochs on Dec. 27, 1919, in Grainfield. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony (WEBER), in 1977.
Survivors include three sons, Robert, Gary and Tom; five daughters, Sister Roserita Weber, Linda Knipp, Shirley Rohr, Janice Knipp and Judy Parker; a brother Roy Jr.; three sisters, Frances Witt, Elsie Karlin and Anna Wolf; 22 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Agnes Catholic Church. Burial will be in Grainfield Cemetery. Schmitt Funeral Home

PARK CITY - Emmett Ottinger, 68, of Park City, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2008, at Eagle Cliff Manor.
The son of William and Grace Ottinger, he was born Jan. 7, 1940, in Basin, Wyo. Emmett served in the Air Force from 1957 to 1961. He retired from the Billings Police Department after 20 years of service in 1984.
He married Virginia BAKER SCHNEIDER in Billings in 1988.
Survivors include his wife of Park City; three sons, Bill Ottinger of Boise, Idaho, Matt Ottinger of Billings and Jared Ottinger of Independence, Ore.; seven grandchildren; his brother, David Blair; two nephews and many cousins.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary.

John J. Ostermiller, of Bend, died Tuesday of natural causes. He was 75.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Pilot Butte Congregation.

Mr. Ostermiller was born Dec. 15, 1931, in Billings, Mont., to John and Martha (Walter) Ostermiller. He graduated from high school. He married Lorraine PETERSON on March 12, 1955, in Billings. Mr. Peterson served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He worked as a heavy-equipment parts manager for many years. He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He enjoyed reading, studying the bible, hunting, fishing and farming. He moved to Central Oregon in 1995.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Mark, of Bend; three daughters, Vicky Maccabee, of Yoncalla, Melissa Trudell, of Silver Lake, and Teresa Motschenbacher, of Bend; four sisters, Ruth Senn, Irene and Eleanor Frank, all of Billings, and Marilyn Morris, of Sheridan, Wyo.; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Harvey A. Ostermiller.
