She was a life member of AHSGR and served as Membership Chairman of the Central Washington Chapter of AHSGR and was active in the Yakima Valley Genealogical Society. Born in Billings, MT.. Her husband Alvin (Bud) Drake preceded her in death on December 20, 1991. Burial in West Hills Memorial Park.

On June 5, 1952, he married Velma Jean KREHBIEL at Blackwell, Oklahoma. She passed away on April 6, 1995. On December 22, 1996, he married Arlene SCHMIDT SCHROEDER at Inman. She survives. He is survived by four sons: John Schmidt and wife Kay of Walton, Tim Schmidt and wife Lisa of Whitewater, David Balzer and wife Kris of Inman, Paul Balzer and wife Janet of Hurley, S.D.; two daughters: Jenny Crow and husband Doug of Emporia, Joyce Peirce and husband Rudy of Housatonic, Mass.; and 10 grandchildren . He was preceded in death by his twin sister Annie, in infancy; and three brothers, twins Melvin and Menno, in infancy, and Victor. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Hebron Cemetery in rural Buhler.

Married Naomi RICE. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Naomi Bender of Yakima; two sons, Larry Bender of Gleed and Dan Bender of Tacoma; five grandchildren, Becky, Amy, Shawn, Danny Jr. and Megan; seven great grandchildren, Shaye, Taylor, Brett, Adam, Colton, Kyle and Ben, all of whom he loved dearly; three brothers, Leonard, Frank and Bill, and two sisters, Angeline and Lilly. Clem was preceded in death by his parents, eight brothers and three sisters. A Funeral Mass 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 17th, at St. Paul Cathedral.

Hilde Jesse (nee Bobermin) was born in May 1918 in Fundu-Zarazika, Bessarabia and died on May 13, 2008 in Lethbridge, Alberta. The family came from Germany to Canada in May, 1953. Funeral service on May 15, 2008 from Redeemer Lutheran Church in Coaldale, AB. Hilde was predeceased by her husband Emil on March 30, 1987 and by her son Erwin four years ago as well as son-in-law Diethelm Gebauer, who died on April 1, 1998 and son-in-law Richard Epp who disappeared many years ago. She is survived by daughter Irma Gebauer and her children Robert, Richard and Marina of Calgary; daughter Alide (Willi) Becht of Baden-Baden, Germany and their children Karolina, Gabi and Ronnie; Erwin's children Rodney and Debbie of Calgary and daughter Hannelore Epp of Hope, B.C. and son Sheldon and daughter Hildegard (Brian) Meldrum of Magrath and their sons Cameron and Cory. She is also survived by a number of great-grandchildren. Her brother Otto Bobermin of Fallon, Montana and perhaps also her brother Rudolf Bobermin and sister Leontine Kugele of Germany also survive her.

Burial at Pleasant Hill Cemetery . Born on September 4, 1913 to John David and Gertrude “Longwell” Broomfield 5 miles south of Ringwood and died Monday, April 26, 2004 at Okeene Municipal Hospital. Married Benhard JANTZEN. Velva is survived by her husband Benhard of the home; one son, Freddie Jantzen and wife, Linda of Okeene; one sister, Fern Bartlett of Rocky Ford, Colorado; and one brother, John William Broomfield of Ringwood; six grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sons, Sidney, Zendell, and Autry Jantzen; her parents; one sister, Erma Farnsworth; and two brothers, Eldon and Elgie Broomfield.

Was born Jan. 25, 1924, in Beverly, the daughter of Walter and Viola (Frink) Brouhard. Married Benjamin RIFFEL. Survivors include two sons, Merlin Riffel of Enterprise and Leland Riffel of Stanley; six daughters, Lela Mae Trent of Wichita, Connie Davis of Tulsa, Okla., Linda Donnelly of Elmo, Bonnie McGilbra of Owasso, Okla., Debbie Middleton of Tulsa, Okla., and Becky Lang of Burlingame; three brothers, Raymond Brouhard of Texas, Clayton Brouhard of Kenville, N.J., and Jerry Brouhard of Waterloo, Iowa; four sisters, Betty Frobenius of Lincolnville, Elsie Riffel of Herington, Clara McCoonse of Overland Park and Carol Humphreys of Frontenac; 16 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin; a sister, Ora Beckel and two grandsons. Survivors include her husband, Ernie Naegele of Hobbs, New Mexico; three sons, Kevin Naegele of Hobbs, New Mexico, Mike Naegele of Hobbs, New Mexico, and Steve Naegele of Tulsa, Oklahoma; a daughter, Pam Wilson of Lubbock, Texas; a brother, Bill Buyell of Dallas, Texas; her grandchildren, Aaron, Arick, Justin, Ward, Mike, Sammy, Amanda, Ashley, Diana, Stevie, Andrea, Chis, Lindsey, Sara and Justin Wilson; and her great-grand-children, Taylor, Reagan, Hailey, Noah and Trinity.
