IRION, AUGUST 1885-1968 - August Irion was born May 13, 1885 in Marion County, Kansas and died February 7, 1968. Married Katie HERMAN, at Watonga. Survivors are two daughters: Mrs. El Vina Boedecker of Enid, Oklahoma and Mrs. Dorma Lee Outhier, Okeene, Oklahoma; a daughter-in-law, Alice Irion of Okeene, Oklahoma; six grandchildren and one great granddaughter. His wife preceded him in death last September and his son, Harron, died in 1963. Internment was in Roselawn Cemetery . (Note: Alice Irion was Alice Nusz daughter of Carl Nusz and Eva Rusch) Carl Nusz was the son of Heinrich (Henry Nuss and Katherine E. Nusz). Note:Heinrich was born in Dobrinka Russia and the son of George Christian Nuss and Sophia Elisabeth Weber, George Christian and his Father Johan Christoph Nuss were also born in Dobrinka Russia. Heinrichs Mother was Anna Elisabeth Sturtz

IRION, THOMAS LYNN 1948-1995 - OKEENE - The funeral for Thomas Lynn "Tom" Irion, 46, at 2 p.m. Wednesday, at the First United Methodist Church in Okeene. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Born April 4, 1948, in Enid to Harron and Alice (Nusz) Irion and died Monday, January 23, 1995. Surviving are one daughter, Amanda Sue Irion of El Reno, Oklahoma; his mother, Alice Irion of Okeene, Oklahoma; and one sister, Vicki Westfahl of Ringwood, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his father in 1963.

She was preceded in death by brothers Abe, Pete, Henry, Corny, John and Jake; and sisters Maggie, Katherine, Anna and Margaret.

Surviving are his mother, Carlotta Isaacs of Seguin; one brother, Jerome Isaacs of Seguin; and grandparents, Bill and Betty Hignite of Enid, Leo and Phyllis Isaacs of Pond Creek. He was preceded in death by his father.
