DACOMA - The funeral for Fern Lambert Nusz, 84, at 10 a.m. Monday at the Dacoma United Methodist Church . Burial will follow in the Alva Municipal Cemetrty. Born on July 29th, 1911, on a farm south of Hopeton, Oklahoma to George W. and Stella (Fuller) Lambert and died Thursday, July 18th, 1996 at the Alva Share Medical Center. Married Jacob Andrew NUSZ in 1932. During World War II she served as the Garfield County Health Nurse. She is survived by two sisters: Alfreda Vail and Ava Poole of Wichita, Kansas; and a sister-in-law, Lorena Lambert of Hopeton, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her daughter, her parents and one brother.

She graduated in 1966, from Hutchinson High School. She moved to the California Bay area after graduation. Survivors include: stepdaughters, Stephanie Wendler, Santa Cruz, Calif., and Rebecca Wendler, San Francisco; her stepfather, William H. "Bill" Meyer, South Hutchinson; a brother, Richard "Rick" Lamberth, Kansas City, Mo.; a stepbrother, Arthur "Butch" Meyer, Salina; two stepsisters, Kristi Baldwin, Hutchinson, and Kelly Seibel, Pretty Prairie; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and stepmother, Patricia Lamberth, mother, Adeline "Addie" Meyer, and a stepbrother, William H. "Skip" Meyer, III.

Funeral services for James Vernon Lamle, 70, of Tuttle, Oklahoma at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 3, 2005 at the First Baptist Church of Tuttle. Born May 20, 1934 in Okeene, Oklahoma, the son of Leland and Leah Lamle and died April 30, 2005 in Norman, Oklahoma. Met his wife, Elsie, while attending Draughns Business School in Oklahoma City. Mr. Lamle worked for the United States Postal Service in Oklahoma City for 27 years. He was preceded in death by: Parents: Leah and Leland Lamle; one daughter: Deborah Lamle. Survivors include: Wife: Elsie Lamle of the home; two sons and their wives: Curtis and Susie Lamle of Overton, Texas, Adam and Patti Lamle of Cache, Oklahoma; one sister: Madeline Schroeder of Okeene, Oklahoma; two brothers: Richard Lamle of Hitchcock, Oklahoma, Glen Ray Lamle of Holdenville, Oklahoma; six grandchildren: Ryne, Autumn, Brock, Kelly, Austin and Jenson; best friends: Bob and Doris Bellah, Darrell and Barbara Carson; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Born May 31, 1926 , at Okeene to Leland and Leah Weber Lamle and died Saturday, Feb. 11, 2006 Married Allen SCHROEDER Sept. 24, 1943 . He preceded her in death. Surviving are one son, Gene Schroeder of Okeene; three daughters, Joyce Browning of Pacific, Wash. , Alana Holsted of Oklahoma City , and Carolyn Keeton of Weatherford; two brothers, Richard Lamle of Hitchcock, and Glen Lamle of Holdenville; 13 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Besides her husband, Allen, she was preceded in death by one brother, and one granddaughter.
Note: Her Grandparents were Adam and Emma (Nusz) Weber. Adam's parents were David and Mary Weber. Emma's parents were Geo Peter and Mary Catherine (Wolf) Nusz. Nusz family came from Dobrinka, Russia.

OSHKOSH - Jean Ann Kling, 63, of Oshkosh, died early Monday morning, Oct. 20, 2008, in Oshkosh. Cremation was held. Jean was born on Jan. 3, 1945, in Ephrata, Wash., to LeRoy Howard and Helen Winifred (Grinde) Lance. As a child of a Sergeant in the Air Force, Jean grew up and lived in various parts of the country. Jean was united in marriage to Bernard "Bernie" KLING in Scottsbluff. She is survived by her two sons, Mike Kling of Mitchell, and Dave and wife Kathleen Kling of Ogallala; five grandchildren, Bailey and Riley Kling of Mitchell, Cyle, Dawson and Madison Kling of Ogallala; mother, Helen Lance of Gering; brother, Tom and his wife Ann Lance of Lakewood, Colo.; brothers-in-law, Kermit, Gerald and Gordon; sister-in-law, Nancy; and an aunt, Eunice Rheinfrank of Gering. Adam D. Lautenschlager was born on January 27, 1916 in Endicott, Washington. He died on March 1, 2002 in Simi Valley, California. He was the son of Conrad and Marie (nee Ruhl) Lautenschlager. He graduated from Concordia Lutheran Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri, in 1940 and served congregations from 1941-1949 and from 1954-1986. His ministries/parishes were in: Camas, WA; Rupert and Twin Falls, ID; Toledo and Newport, OR; Los Angeles, CA; and Wickenburg, AZ. He was a pastor of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod. He was survived by Arlene Nee Lutz and son William and daughter Sharon.

Dr. Samuel Cameron Litzenberger died Saturday, June 29, 2002, at Applewood Living Center. Born July 21, 1914, Calgary, Canada, to Adam Lizenberger and Marie Elizabeth Gorr Litzenberger. When he was 1, the family returned to Colorado. Married Hazel Lucille WEST, his wife and companion for 56 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Adam and Marie Litzenberger; his wife, Hazel Litzenerger; four brothers, John J. Litzenberger, Alvin Litzenberger, Edward Litzenbdrger, and Edward Adam Litzenberger; two sisters, Marie Elizabeth Martin and Amelia Befus; two nephews; two nieces; and two great-nehews. He is survived by nephews, Jim Litzenberger and wife Marilyn of Longmont, John Litzenberger of Sterling, Ed Befus of Longmont and Dennis Murphy and wife Linda of Hawthorne, Calif. nieces Betty Jean McClanahan and husband Milton of Oklahoma, Pauline Dietz of Rupert, Idaho, Amelia Hilderbrand and husband Harold of Wenatchee, Wash., and Faye Litzenberger of Acampo, Calif.; numerous great-nephews and great-nieces; and sisters-in-law Julia Litzenberger of Acampo, Calif., and Virginia Murphy of Gardena, Calif.

Note: Samuel's parents, Adam and Marie Elisabeth Gorr, traveled separately to the United States. On May 26, 1903 they married in Oshkosh, WI at Christ Lutheran Church. About 5 years later Adam and Marie Litzenberger and their 3 young children moved to Longmont, CO. They first farmed sugar beets. The growing family moved to Calgary for about a year in 1914 where Samuel was born.

Fred and Ethel Lock, Ulysses, Kansas will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary with a card shower, and at a later date with family. Fred and the former Ethel Brack were married September 4, 1938, at the Methodist Church parsonage in Great Bend, Kansas. Fred worked for Kansas Natural Gas of Hays, KS for 42 years, starting at the Otis, KS gas plant and then from 1954, in the Ulysses, KS gas field. He retired in 1981. Ethel is a homemaker, and is widely known as a family historian, who has printed seven family tree books. She also enjoys helping others with their family research. They continue to make their home in Ulysses. Their children and spouses are: Ross Lock, Ft. Collins, CO; Susan and Dennis Wheeler, Arkansas City, KS; Connie and J. R. Flohr, Ulysses, KS. Celebration of life service was held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 27, 2008, at Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Olathe. Burial followed in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens.
