Married to ANNA ELSEN, who preceded him in death in 1923. A son, Anton, and a daughter, Mrs. Joe Kowis, Grassy Butte, survive him. Other survivors are 16 grand-children and 18 great-grandchildren, and a sister who resides in Austria.
