Survivors include 3 sisters, Mrs. Egger and Mrs. Margaret K. Carter, both of Walla Walla, and Mrs. Katherine Von Derahe of Milton-Freewater, and several nieces and nephews.

Herman Vogel, who is stationed at Camp Hood TX, Leonard Vogel and Jacob Vogel, both of Park City; three daughters, Mrs. Lidia Hannen, San Francisco and Martha Vogel and Emma Vogel, both of Park City, and two sisters, Mrs. Rose Hust and Mrs. Margaret Lindan, both of Billings. Another son, Pvt. Fred Vogel, was killed in action in North Africa, Sept. 12, 1943.
