Raymond Charles Zahn, 78, died Jan. 23, 2009. Born Dec. 13, 1930, the son of Otto C. and Cleo L. Adams Zahn. Married JANE WILMA BURBACKER. She died in 1987. Married ALICA LANDON STANLEY. She survives. Other survivors include: four daughters, Jana and Dar Chehrazi, Cecelie, Amy and Lloyd Stewart, Cassandra and Anthony Depp; five grandchildren; a sister, Doris and Bennie Bennett. Preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Edward O. Zahn; and a sister, Bonnie J. Zahn Parker.

Other survivors include: sons, Ferrel, Paul, John, Dennis and Timothy; daughters, Carol Brown and Wanda Doig; brother, Edward; sisters, Elizabeth Zehr and Dorothy Bechtel; 18 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.

Survived by her daughters and their husbands (whom she always considered to be her own sons): Linda and Norm Ott of Scottsbluff and Mary and Randy Hunt of Lenexa, Kan., her grandchildren Greg and wife Rebecca Ott of Hastings, Neb., Kellee Enlow and husband Jeff Spath of Johnstown, Colo., Molly and husband Josh Anderson of Olathe, Kan. and Abby and husband Phillip Prude of Tulsa, Okla., great grandchildren Jacqueline and Calvin Ott of Hastings, Neb., Briana and Jackson Enlow of Johnstown, Colo. and Ella and Jackson Anderson of Olathe, Kan. and a sister in law Luci Lupher of Minatare. Also survived by two aunts, Pauline Zeiler of Scottsbluff (with whom Betty had a special relationship), and Mildred Rein of Gering, along with numerous cherished nieces and nephews. Her parents, husband Jack and brother Robert Zeiler, Sr. preceded her in death.

Lydia Zier Rehms died on Jan. 11, 2009. Born June 25, 1915, in Edgar, the daughter of John David Zier and Mary Elizabeth Michael, the sixth of 10 children. Married DAVID RUFF. To this union her only child was born in 1937 - Geraldine May. They were later divorced. Married HAROLD REHMS. He preceded her in death Sept. 8, 1969, at the age of 61. Survived by her youngest sister, Helen Miklovich of Lodge Grass; daughter, Geraldine (Walt) Yanc; grandsons, Cameron David (Colleen) Schieno of Billings, Kelly Dean Schieno of Bozeman; great-grandsons, Logan and Dillon Schieno of Tillamook, Ore.; step-daughter, Betty Yerger of Hardin; many nieces and nephews, and step-granddaughters and grandsons and great-granddaughters and a great-grandson. Survivors, in addition to his wife, of Hoisington, include three sons, Dennis Zorn and wife Brenda of Westminster, Colo., Ronald Zorn and wife Carol of Queens Creek, Ariz., and James Zorn and wife Donna of Great Bend; four brothers, including his twin brother Alvin Zorn of Smith Center, Leonard Zorn of Claflin, Ed Zorn of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Gerald Zorn of Great Bend; four sisters, Tillie Schremmer and Ann Schremmer, both of Hoisington, Marion Schroeder of Newton and Helen Holliday of Inman; five grandchildren, Eric, Alycia, Zachary, Gabriel and Matthew Zorn, and a great-grandchild, Mason Zorn. Preceded in death by three brothers, Frank, Bernard and Richard Zorn, and two sisters, Margaret Steiner and Eleanor Hickel.
