Born April 15, 1930, in Hutchinson the son of Adolph and Clara Heim Bartels.   He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.   On June 20, 1965, he married ROSETTA SKINNER. She survives. "He was an extremely caring human being," Bartels daughter Diane said. "Dad always opened car doors and walked on the outside of the sidewalk. He taught me that the little things are important. Willie Bay, son of Alex and Mary (Schoenhals) Bay, was born Sept. 3, 1911 in Shattuck.  Passed away on Feb. 21, 1995. Married  NORMA LENORA DEAL.   Preceded in death by his parents, Alex and Mary Bay, Sr.; his son, Clarence Bay, three brothers, David, Alex Jr., and Harry Bay; and one sister, Lydia Schoenhals.

Survived by his wife Norma of the home; one son and his wife, Norman and Helan Bay of Shattuck; nine grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, one great granddaughter, Andrea Morris, who they loved and raised as a daughter; two great great grandchildren.

NOTE;  The name of Willie Bay's surviving sister was inadvertently left out of his obituary in last weeks paper.  Surviving Mr. Bay is Mary Kelln of Washington State.  We are sorry for this omission.
