Alvin Lee Schneider, 88, died Aug. 14, 2010, at Hutchinson.   Born June 19, 1922, at the family farm in rural Rice County, the son of George H. and Bertha Schneider.  On Jan. 2, 1949, he married GLENYS IRENE McDILL.  They had three sons, Terry (Lisa) of Wichita and Roger (Debbie) of Wellington. Tom of Wichita preceded him in death in December 1997, at the age of 44.   Survived by sister, Laberta Hopping of McPherson; brother, Don Schneider of Duncan, Neb.; three grandchildren, Travis, Jared, Eric; three step-grandchildren, Stacy (Ryan), Stephanie (Rich) and Trey (Shanyn); several nieces and nephews; eight step great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Helen Schneider of Fairview, Okla.   Preceded in death by twin brothers and a brother Cloyd.

Schneider, 84, of Scottsbluff, passed away Friday, April 2, 2010 in Scottsbluff.   Born March 1, 1926 on the family homestead just outside of Fort Lupton, Colo., to William and Josephine (Gross) Schneider.   Married TERESA (TERRI) WETHINGTON on April 5, 1948.  To this union three children were born, Randy, Ranette and Brent. Terri passed away February 5, 2004. George married GLENDA COOK on September 16, 2006.   Survived by his wife Glenda; sons Randy of Denver and Brent (Ginger) of Gering and daughter Ranette Schwartzkopf of Gering. Schnell, 72, of rural Potter, passed away Friday, April 23, 2010, at  Johnstown, Colo.    Floyd Wayne Schnell, the son of Henry L. and Marie (Kilthau) Schnell, was born on April 28, 1937, at Minatare.  On March 1, 1958, Floyd married FRANCES JEAN GROVIJOHN at La Mesa, Calif. BUHLER - David Jasper Schroeder was born on Aug. 28, 1913, in rural McPherson County to David H. and Mary (Neufeldt ) Schroeder and died on May 5, 2010, at Heartland Haven, Inman, less than five miles from the place of his birth 96 years before. Married HILDA SCHMIDT  on June 11, 1939.  It is fitting that he carried on the historical tradition of his Mennonite ancestors who reclaimed the swamp lands in Prussia in order to be free to practice their religious beliefs.    HILDA SCHMIDT SCHROEDER died on April 20, 1963, after nearly 25 years of marriage. David married EMMA LOEWEN of Steinbach, Manitoba on Sept 4, 1964. Emma died Jan 8, 2010, after nearly 46 years of marriage.   Preceded in death by: sisters, Tiena Toews and Irma Siemens; and brother, Ernest Schroeder.   Survived by: sister, Gladys Ashworth, Fresno, Calif.; and brother, Milo Schroeder, Buhler. His children and spouses are Duane and Lois Schroeder of Orinda, Calif., Katy and Harley Marshall of Moundridge. David has five grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

NEWTON - Earl R. Schroeder, 83, died Dec. 21, 2010.   Born Oct. 19, 1927, to David J. and Anna Krause Schroeder.  In 1946, he married RACINE SMITH. She preceded him in death. In 1952, he later married Esther Fast. She survives. NESS CITY - Schuler, Bernard F., 76, died March 14, 2010 at Clinton, Oklahoma.  Born March 6, 1934 in Ness City, KS, the son of Otto and Clara Werner Schuler.  He was a member of the American Legion Frank Stull Post No. 152, Ness City and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7972, Ransom. Bernard was also an accomplished guitar player and played back-up for Roy Clark. He married JEANETTE LOVE  in 1970 and then married EVELYN KRIEGLER BALES in 2003. He is survived by his son, Theodore Otto Schuler; his daughter, Tina Marie; one sister, Frances Pfannenstiel and 5 grandchildren.
